my bad day

Well apparently I wasn't supposed to get out today...
After I left wal mart, I went by and picked up my mother and my little brother to come help me unload groceries since I was so hot...and my mom to sit in the truck with Hunter so that I didn't have to unload him just to take my brother and mom right back.
Ok...well I park my car in the driveway, get up the stairs and I have to go back downstairs to get my keys to get in the house, so I get in my truck...ask my mom to get out and hand me the basket I had in the back seat to help my brother haul groceries up, Mike was in the back end of the vehicle and anyway I pull my keys out, get out and went to get the basket then the car started rolling back really fast. I try to get in to do something, but it was so fast I couldnt...it drug me under across the street, my mom got flipped over and my little brother thank god he got out of the way, he was trying to stop it from the back, but we crashed into my neighbors contractors truck and thats when i was pulled off. Hunter was in his seat buckled in THANK GOD...my mom hurt her ankle and scraped up pretty bad, she is pretty sore, but ok and Mike is ok. I am so glad they were there to help me and Mike really stepped up for us. I got burnt pretty bad along my back end...Delvin took me to the er...the baby is ok...THANK THE LORD. I got pics of the baby and I am so happy to see the baby is fine and that the heart was beating fine. But like I said I was burnt pretty bad, they think I have a fracture in my tailbone, but cant do x rays and they said it will heal itself...my knees are messed up, one almost got ran over but not all the way under the wheel. and scraped up everywhere...BUT most importantly our baby is ok. And everyone else is ok. It could have been so much worse, but we were being watched over for sure. God is good. And the neighbors contractor was so nice, helped us out, helped my mom upstairs and wasn't even worried about his vehicle. They are really nice people.
The dealership filed a liability claim with Chrysler, they are coming out to inspect because there was injuries and damage of course...that's very dangerous. We have only had the vehicle for a few weeks. SO...anyway this sucks...I hope our vehicle gets completely looked-well it will, and the dealership said its up to us what we want to do with the vehicle. I will not settle until that vehicle is looked at completely. This is the second problem in a week.

Lucky Woman...

So...I had my engine light come on in my Acura, took it to get it checked out, come to find out, I needed a new transmission, and there was a recall for transmissions that year on my car. SO...we debated it and we had planned to get me a bigger vehicle next year anyway, so we figured why put out 4k for a transmission when we could spend that towards a new vehicle sooner than planned. So we have been looking like crazy for months. We have found a few good deals and missed out on them and we have been researching cars like crazy, looking at different recalls and stuff so we didnt run into that this time.
We literally looked at everything in the suv and minivan range because we wanted bigger, we are a growing family, we always have extra kids with us (nephews and so on) and we travel alot. So, anyway we looked at everything and then I had to stop by my sis in laws job to take her her phone, and she walked me over to the used car dealership to check out what they had. Anyway I was shown an 06 dodge durango...I then thought about it, and realized we never looked it up, never even thought about it. Anyway, I test drove it, fell in love. Delvin wouldnt come see it or anything til he researched it and I got my Acura detailed. So I left it and didnt think anything more of it. Well the next day I go get my car detailed just to have it ready. And he calls me on his way home from work and says baby see if your mom can keep Hunter lets go look at that car and if it doesnt work out, we can look at some others I have lined up!!! AWESOME!
So, we looked at it, he test drove it they cut us a really really good deal because Lisa has worked there so long and so on, and we had the trade in.
We are the proud owners of an 06 Dodge Durango Hemi V8, Seating for 8, built in dvd player, memory chairs, lumbar adjustment, heated seats, limited edition...options go on and on. We love it, cant wait to take it on a trip. Anyway, I am so proud, so happy, so blessed that we could work it in. Now its just going to take some getting used to, its so big. Hunter loves it and really likes the dvd player. We got him one for the back of the seat but he kicks it and pulls it down, he cant get to this!!!
Also, My brother and sister in law were effected by our bad storms last week. They had their ac unit catch on fire and all their electricity was cut off for safety and they have to replace their entire ac system had to get trees removed, and wont know what all is fried inside until they can get power back to their house. They were staying with us until insurance finally got them a hotel for a few days, and they brought their fan over and it was fried...so I can only imagine how the appliances will be. Its a blessing in a way because they will get a new ac unit and they could use the new appliances in the kitchen, but its money to put out that most people dont have lying around and it always sucks not being able to be in your house in your space in your routine. They might be coming back to stay with us again on sunday....and thats fine. We like having them around, plus Lisa helps out with cooking and she is a great cook. I love to cook, but sometimes I would rather not!! So keep them in your prayers, also us....we are trying to get a hold of our landlords...our hot water heater is out I guess, its new just replaced, but its hard going to take showers somewhere else everyday. and our microwave is out, also possums have gotten in our attic....so hopefulyl we can get them out here soon to take care of that.
But other than that, life is good...

Whats up Heather?

WELL lets see...
1. I just wanted to say...it makes me sick when people have children and their main priority and ambition in life is to get HIGH...I have deleted these dumb people from my personal space pages and I am still working on that. Get with the program. What are you teaching your kids? I guess I dont get the hype. I have never tried any drug, besides anything legally prescribed by my dr...and I wouldnt. And my ambition in life is to be the best wife and mother, god serving woman I can be. Makes me sick.
2. I am so baby hungry right now. Hunter is getting so big, we are potty training and the other day he was sitting on his potty that sits on the big toilet and I just wanted to cry. He looked so big. And he is getting so big. I love him so much, baby please stay my baby forever. I feel like if I blink he will be 18. But we are going to feed our hunger within the next few weeks because we are going to start trying for another wee one! And I am so excited. I love kids, I always wanted a big family...and that probably wont happen since I was Delvin hungry and with his age I dont think it would be fair to have 10 kids and have him miss out on retirement that he works so hard for!!! But we will have 3-maybe 4...who knows.
3. Speaking of potty training-Hunter went poopie in the potty! He hasnt peed yet, but we are still working on it. But he did go poopie and was so excited when we did the potty dance and song...and he got a cookie. He loved it. Im trying to make it really exciting for him. We sing songs and do silly things to try and get him to be content to stay on the potty. He is SO darn cute. And just melts me with his silliness!
4. My cars transmission is bad...Yea there was a recall and I found out too late appearantly, but whatever. So instead of putting the money up which could be 3-4k for a new transmission on it we decided that we were going to go ahead and get me a big mommy vehicle that we planned on getting next year anyway since we were going to have another baby by then and we always seem to need the room with extra people and luggage for trips. So anyway we are looking for a big suv or mini van. I am really excited. It will suck having a car payment again, but it was inevitable.
5. Still looking for ahouse. and I really hope we find one by the end of this summer. I am so ready and want to be out of our house hopefully by Aug or Sept. I really am lucky to have a nice house now...but its different when its not your own...and I am not really crazy about the layout or the backyard. I love the big deck and its been great for get togethers and nice nights outside eating some bbq..BUT its not really workign with a kid. Hunter scares me to death when he gets up by the stairs to the balcony and the deck...Im afraid he iwll fall off. I just wnat a great flat backyard to put a swingset in and his other toys and let him play without worrying if he is going to fall and break something. He is quick so I cant depend on just running after him anymore.
6. Delvins mom still hasnt had surgery yet, butthat will be this week and hopefully all goes well, so keep us in your prayers.

Update on life

Well things are pretty good here. Delvin has been working pretty hard. We have had to make afew trips to witchita falls and are making another at the end of the month so he can do some work. I love going with him because I havent seen my friend Ann since the day we left the hospital with Hunter and Imiss her terribly. She just loves Hunter and I see how it feels her heart to have him tear up her stuff when we are over there! She has such a good heart.
Hunter is getting big...14.5 months and so smart and sweet. He knows which buttons to push and he loves to push them.
I am good, getting caught up on my scrapbooking stuff and enjoying my life as mommy and wife. I love my family so much, they make life just worth it. Started workign out, just trying to lose a few lbs before we get prego again. and Ill keep it up so that maybe I will have a better chance of a vbac...we are planning on trying for another baby in June most likely. maybe end of may! lol.
We are also looking for a house! Yes! We are finally buying a hosue this year. We have been married for almost 2 yrs and we have been back and forth on this...but we are ready to settle in one place. We were planning on moving to Kansas but its just not an option at this time...If it becomes an option at a later time than we will look at that possibility. But Delvin told me he is ok with settling here because this is our home...But I dont care, my home is where my husband is. So we are looking. My mother in law is having health issues right now, we are trying to talk her into moving in with us down here because we really feel it would be the best thing for all of us. And I would love for her to be here to watch Hunter grow as well as her other grandchildren. She will have such a great support system...and we are ok with moving to the country to make her feel more comfortable but close enough where delvin can easily commute. So please keep her and us in your prayers. She is stubborn and not easy to convince but we love her! lol.
We are headed to Oklahoma this weekend to see mycousin play some football. Cant wait miss them so much too.
Well I better get off here and get back to cleaning! Hope everyone is well....

twilight

I just finished the twilight saga. I am currently reading the interesting addition to the saga, midnight sun, based on edwards point of view. I am completely blown away that I have found an interest in this saga. I am not really a reader. I mean, I like to read, but I have my interest and even though I am intelligent, always was a good student, I just have my limits on what I want to spend my time reading! I am much more of a crafty hands on type of person. And YES I would rather see the movie than read the book. And I have to admit that Twilight didnt seem at all appealing to me when I saw previews so I didnt care to see it. I just thought it was some dumb teeny bopper movie and that was that. I remember going to blockbuster with Delvin and hes liek I heard it was really good, lets give it a try. A try I said...couldnt hurt...the worst that could happen is that I wont like it and I could tear away from it and work on my scrapbooks. But I liked it, I couldnt turn away. Yes the movie is about teen love. BUT...Its not just that, there is much more meaning in it for me. The measures...the love. Kind of reminds me of my life with Delvin. In a different sense of course, neither of us our vampires of course but...in real life as god fearing christians that were bound to be together. It was set in Gods plan...but it wasnt easy.
So I saw the movie, and I saw it again...and then I started the books...watching the movie on an off in between with anyone I could draw into this special life of imagination. I have lost sleep, being up until 2 30-sometimes 3 30 reading ...craving more of the story. I have never felt that way about books! (I have to stay up late because thats when Hunter is sleeping!) But its been so relaxing...like Im dreaming as Im reading, wierd huh!? So I finished it...and now Im sad. I cant wiat til the author finishes midnight sun which is a book from book 1...based from Edwards point of view. Interesting mind he has...how he loves bella. Sometimes I wish that I could get into Delvins head. See what he is thinking...how he feels...Being married I have learned to pick up on things...but I wish I knew all of it. lol. Just thinking about the series and the love they had makes me want to cry. Its so good. So if you havent seen it, you should. And the second movie, a new moon will be out in nov....11-20-09 and I cant wait. Definetely wont be able to wait for this movie to come out to video!

Feb

Well I havent written in a while, seems I have been busy I guess!

Valentines weekend we went with some friends to Red River, New Mexico and stayed in a nice cabin. It was such an awesome trip. So beautiful. The snow was so plentiful and white that it was almost blinding. We were surrounded by mountains...a view that was amazing. We had a great hill in the back yard that we spend most of our time on. We sled down it and the guys raced and tried different tricks. Even Hunter went sledding down the hill with his daddy. He didnt cry, he didnt laugh either, he kinda just had this look on his face like what the heck did you just do to me! Plus Delvin was afraid of going into the river (we still had space before that could happen, but this is when we were first out there and had only went down a few times, plus he was trying to be extra careful with Hunter...) So he put his feet down and a bunch of snow went up in their face, so I dont think Hunter liked that. But he did enjoy being out in the snow..just sitting next to me watching everyone else sled! Delvin went snowmobiling one day for a 3.5 hour tour...And he really enjoyed that. We would love to go back. We just had such a good time. But what a long drive! Totally worth it though.

Things have been pretty good otherwise. Delvin's just been busy working, and Hunter and I have been chugging along...He is so smart and amazes me each day. He is getting really good about his tantrums. He knows the word NO and he doesnt like it. But gotta teach him! He loves green veggies...yes green beans and broccoli...if he could live on those he would...

I got a call today, found out that I will get to be a cheer coach for the same team again! I am very excited to hear that, because I got really close to some of my girls....and their parents/football coaches. I was also told that I am being nominated for a cheerleading commissioner. Which basically means that I will be 1 of 3 that will be over the whole cheerleading deal. Primarily over the jr league. Its exciting for me to even be nominated for the position but the head commisioner said she thought of me immediately, I did such a good job last year, plus I know what I am doing from experience of being an actual cheerleader so she wanted to nominate me. So that made me feel really good. I am thinking about bringing in an assistant this year, especially if I get the commissioner position...just in case I have to be late to practice helping out other teams...and plus Id love to do more things with the girls this year, like sleepovers and so on.

Well its coming up on a year that memaw has been gone. Her birthday is on the 9th and she passed on the 18th...So I have been thinking about that pretty heavily. I cant believe a year has passed...and its been a hard one...I think this is going to be ahard month for everyone...so keep us in your thoughts!
Ill post pics from red river soon.
