Our visit with Jason and the Cowboys game

View from outside of the decks...they were loaded

3 musketeers

The tvs outside. and people packed in!

crazy crowded

Look at all these people!

The sides opening up

The roof opening...progress 15 min later!

Dont you love the smile!?

People were just packing in and being very rude, so Delvin said either he will get tired of me up against his butt, or he will move. It took a long time for this guy to move, BUT Delvin finally got some os his space back

The roof opening

Some good water-should be for $5 a bottle. And our little table that we lost claim to!

Jason eating some grub!

A piece of the deck

I just now got to doing this post. Poor Hunter baby has a double ear infection and upper respiratory infection

Jason came to visit last sunday and stay a few days with us. He asked us about going to the Cowboys first game about a month ago, and we were up to going-so he ordered the tickets and we got party deck pass tickets. We werent sure what this meant, we just knew that we would be there. So a few days before the game, Jason gets an email saying they will be standing seats, so ok, it wont be that bad, lets just do it. We were so excited...got there early-so we thought! about 3-4 hrs before kick off. Parking was HORRIBLE. YOu have to expect that, but it was worse then we thought. Not just the distance we had to park from the stadium but the prices. So we thought 30 bucks for a ticket wasnt so bad, but 50 bucks to park! OMG. And that was still far away, we could have been close for 100! So we walk all the way to the stadium(I think my house is closer then the walk from where we parked!) We could only go in 1 entrance. We get in and we have to keep moving upstairs because there was no where to stand, and there were signs that you had to be behind the poles or move to a deck or outside. So anyway we get up to a big deck and decide ok this is where we are going to stay, we found a table and claimed it early since it was already packed. That was OUR table. We take turns goign to get food which was $$$$ and water for 5 bucks! Ouch! anyway we get set in our spot and it felt like 10 hours before kick off. They made this big deal about the roof opening and it took a LONG time to open! Plus when the roof opens, the sides open to the decks, it was so hot. but anyhow as it got near kick off, we got overwhelmed with people. People just kept packing in and I was feeling so violated. So we decided 1st quarter we would go outside because it would probably be cooler and alot more space. Plus Delvin got into it with this arrogant guy who was running his mouth and pushing us and then Jason finished it! I also got tired of the 2 couples next to me getting it on! And really got tired of feeling like I was at a club. I was there to watch a football game not pole dancers and I coudlnt see the field or the big tvs!
Anyway we go outside find a place to park our bottoms and it was very packed out there too, but at least it was cooler. However----we didnt see the game because the tvs were showing what we could see at home on our own tv...but people at home saw more than we did! We saw every commercial, but when it came to goign back to the game....it kept freezing up and then be back up in time for commercials. And I am sorry but when you pay to get in the game and they wont let you inside because they are at capacity...they better show the same thing you would see on the tvs inside. And they better get some restrooms out there. Once we were outside we couldnt go back in..RIDICULOUS. So we left at half time to beat the rush of people and traffic and I think it was the best idea. But there were alot of people leaving at that point as well. They better do something about the party pass....like put seats in there. lol. They had a lounge couch but people dont like to sit like sardines and it could fit about 20 people. You couldnt take a break and sit along the side somewhre because it was a fire hazard! WHAT? I would think as many people as were packed in there woudl have been a fire hazard! BUT we left there feeling good about a few things, 1...we were there for the first game of the season in the new stadium. 2. we lived and learned and know for next time. But I think it will be a good few yrs before we head back to the stadium! We left there and got some fuzzy tacos...YUMMMY!
Monday we got up and I ran to get Hunter and run some errands but came back and we were bums until night time-we had family over and cooked on the grill. And I must say, IT WAS AWESOME! I have never had squash and we had butternut and acorn squash. So good. So anyway, we had a great visit cant wait to see Jason again and hopefully Kristen can make it next time too!!!

Here are a few pics I wanted to share of the stadium and our experience!

(SORRY THEY POSTED AT TOP! STILL DONT KNOW HOW TO USE THIS!

Frustration

I need to vent.
What the heck did I do to anyone? I mean seriously? I have always been a girl that values time with her family and would prefer to be with her family than her friends. I mean, I grew up that way, I loved being with my gparents, loved being with my aunts and uncles and cousins and my parents and siblings... I never caused any problems with any of them. I never started any crap...HOWEVER it seems I seem to still be drug under for it. No I am not just whining and saying it to have something to say. I have noticed how my family is. And I dont like it. I hardly see any of my family anymore. Granted, things were alot better when MeMaw was around. But-it definitely started years ago. Everyone seemed to always want to leave their kids with me so they could run off and have fun, and everyone wanted help from me since I was reliable and I would do it to spend time with them. Oh but my wedding for instance-people thought they were going to tell me how it was going to be. Ya know...you would think I could have one day right? I have always wanted a big wedding and loved the thought of all my family being there. Even when the place we had originally chose caught fire and we were limited on places at that time-I said I will make the best of it...the most important thing is I am marrying someone that I love more than anything and I will have the people I love there. But people still tried to bring me down-You and your kids will have their time. And then its like my baby shower....family was saying they werent going to come because of whatever reasons-honestly I think for their own selfish whiney reasons. But still, it hurt me, I show up to everything because I care about everyone. I was so upset. But I said the most important thing for me is that my memaw gets to be there. And I do appreciate everyone who came and made the special effort (jason and kristen) But even some of the people that were there, were the ones starting the bs. I finally said look come or dont come, Im tired of begging. I shouldnt have to. I am not expecting a gift..well no, I am-the gift of their presence. My sons birthday people pull the same stuff-but I realized it had nothing really to do with me-it was that they were mad at someone else in their family or their mom was mad at someone else in the family and since that person might be there or because I even said HI to them in the past month that means they cant come. I have nothing to do with it. So why should my husband son and myself be treated like crap. There are some family members that I choose not to associate with because they seem to destroy people in their path, and dont make good decisions that I dont want to be drug into...but I dont take things out on the kids. I will still go to their birthday parties and so on. I understand people not being able to come to things or get together for honest reasons-but just because your pissed at someone else doesnt mean that it should effect me because I might have said hi to them...
It really does break my heart that I text a relative to see about getting together for the freaking 20th time in 6 months at least. And they have the nerve to tell me that they are SOOO busy but I find out that they dont ever do anything but stay home and watch tv. I am not asking you to come to my place or purchase anything I will come to you, I will make the effort-but COME ON-how much effort do I have to make. No ONE here makes any effort to hang out with us, or call us to see if we would like to get together. And that makes me wonder why the heck are we sticking around, when I was only sticking around for family. Why do I make the effort just to be told how busy you are...why should I say lets get together in the next year and you tell me that you dont have time and dont forsee yourself having anytime in the next year. And tell me why you feel the need to pass on your bs to your kids? I have very ill feelings about my stepsons mother-however I wouldnt feel right to say anything about it to my kids because that is their brother (regardless of the fact that he isnt around and doesnt want to be!) but I wouldnt until they were adults or old enough to understand the facts. I dont know, I guess its just me. Delvin says dont worry about it...but I guess you would just have to be me. I guess I would have spent a little more time developing better friendships so that at least Delvin and I could have people to go to dinner with and for me to have someone that my kids could look onto. We have a few friends-and feel lucky to have them. Now if you do not live in the dfw area-this does not pertain to you, and it doesnt pertain to my siblings nor my parents really. Its actually been nice that we have gotten alot closer to my older brother and sister in law...its nice to get an invite from them sometimes to do something and its nice to have my direct families help when we need it as far as packing, helping with Hunter if we need a night out and so on-just sad that I have done for everyone but its not mutual.
Sorry for whoever has read this. I just have a heavy heart and before I go off on someone I better let it out.

Future Dallas Cowboy-(JASON REPRESENT!)

These are pictures I took of Hunter today. He was going with my mom out to my aunts and was SOOO excited to be getting out of the house. I havent felt up to doing too much that involves me getting out of the house unless I have to! So he has been getting cabin fever bad. He also LOVES his dallas cowboy jersey. Something about it-the feel of it or something but everytime he spots it in his clean folded laundry he grabs it and wants to wear it. When I put it on him he just rubs it constantly! Or maybe he is just seeing his future as Blade Curtis-Future Dallas Cowboys Player! Haha. Anyway he kept saying cheese really happily so we got some good pictures that I wanted to share. And Jason-Hunter is helping you REPRESENT!

Hunters first hair cut!

My baby got his first hair cut! I was a little worried that he would throw a fit during it just because someone is coming to his head with scizzors. I knew instantly that I wanted to take him somewhere that caters to kids and really makes the first hair cut special. So after some research, I found Cool Cuts for Kids! There are many locations, but luckily one very close to us. I have been hesitant about cutting his hair because thats his baby hair and I just love how his hair curls up in the back...BUT at 18 months, it was time!

Cool Cuts for Kids has an awesome set up. They have different cars the kids can sit in and for the bigger kids that come in that are too cool for that or well, too big...they have the reg chairs. You come in and the kids get to pick which movie they want to see. Hunter got Elmo. She put it in and we put him in the chair. Well he was all smiles because he loves cars (wheels) and he loves Elmo! She came at him with the scizzors and as I was holding my breath-nothing happened! He did so good. He just sat there playing in his car, eating his snack and watching tv. He laughed when she got the sheers after him. And then it she was done and he threw a fit when we pulled him from the seat. He didnt want to go. They had a cool train table set up with all the fixings and he loved that while we paid. BUt Delvin and I had a heck of a time prying him from the shop. They gave him a certificate of his first haircut with a lock of his hair and a place to put a photo. I will definetely be taking him there to get his hair cut for now on until he decides he is too big to go there!

my bad day

Well apparently I wasn't supposed to get out today...
After I left wal mart, I went by and picked up my mother and my little brother to come help me unload groceries since I was so hot...and my mom to sit in the truck with Hunter so that I didn't have to unload him just to take my brother and mom right back.
Ok...well I park my car in the driveway, get up the stairs and I have to go back downstairs to get my keys to get in the house, so I get in my truck...ask my mom to get out and hand me the basket I had in the back seat to help my brother haul groceries up, Mike was in the back end of the vehicle and anyway I pull my keys out, get out and went to get the basket then the car started rolling back really fast. I try to get in to do something, but it was so fast I couldnt...it drug me under across the street, my mom got flipped over and my little brother thank god he got out of the way, he was trying to stop it from the back, but we crashed into my neighbors contractors truck and thats when i was pulled off. Hunter was in his seat buckled in THANK GOD...my mom hurt her ankle and scraped up pretty bad, she is pretty sore, but ok and Mike is ok. I am so glad they were there to help me and Mike really stepped up for us. I got burnt pretty bad along my back end...Delvin took me to the er...the baby is ok...THANK THE LORD. I got pics of the baby and I am so happy to see the baby is fine and that the heart was beating fine. But like I said I was burnt pretty bad, they think I have a fracture in my tailbone, but cant do x rays and they said it will heal itself...my knees are messed up, one almost got ran over but not all the way under the wheel. and scraped up everywhere...BUT most importantly our baby is ok. And everyone else is ok. It could have been so much worse, but we were being watched over for sure. God is good. And the neighbors contractor was so nice, helped us out, helped my mom upstairs and wasn't even worried about his vehicle. They are really nice people.
The dealership filed a liability claim with Chrysler, they are coming out to inspect because there was injuries and damage of course...that's very dangerous. We have only had the vehicle for a few weeks. SO...anyway this sucks...I hope our vehicle gets completely looked-well it will, and the dealership said its up to us what we want to do with the vehicle. I will not settle until that vehicle is looked at completely. This is the second problem in a week.

Lucky Woman...

So...I had my engine light come on in my Acura, took it to get it checked out, come to find out, I needed a new transmission, and there was a recall for transmissions that year on my car. SO...we debated it and we had planned to get me a bigger vehicle next year anyway, so we figured why put out 4k for a transmission when we could spend that towards a new vehicle sooner than planned. So we have been looking like crazy for months. We have found a few good deals and missed out on them and we have been researching cars like crazy, looking at different recalls and stuff so we didnt run into that this time.
We literally looked at everything in the suv and minivan range because we wanted bigger, we are a growing family, we always have extra kids with us (nephews and so on) and we travel alot. So, anyway we looked at everything and then I had to stop by my sis in laws job to take her her phone, and she walked me over to the used car dealership to check out what they had. Anyway I was shown an 06 dodge durango...I then thought about it, and realized we never looked it up, never even thought about it. Anyway, I test drove it, fell in love. Delvin wouldnt come see it or anything til he researched it and I got my Acura detailed. So I left it and didnt think anything more of it. Well the next day I go get my car detailed just to have it ready. And he calls me on his way home from work and says baby see if your mom can keep Hunter lets go look at that car and if it doesnt work out, we can look at some others I have lined up!!! AWESOME!
So, we looked at it, he test drove it they cut us a really really good deal because Lisa has worked there so long and so on, and we had the trade in.
We are the proud owners of an 06 Dodge Durango Hemi V8, Seating for 8, built in dvd player, memory chairs, lumbar adjustment, heated seats, limited edition...options go on and on. We love it, cant wait to take it on a trip. Anyway, I am so proud, so happy, so blessed that we could work it in. Now its just going to take some getting used to, its so big. Hunter loves it and really likes the dvd player. We got him one for the back of the seat but he kicks it and pulls it down, he cant get to this!!!
Also, My brother and sister in law were effected by our bad storms last week. They had their ac unit catch on fire and all their electricity was cut off for safety and they have to replace their entire ac system had to get trees removed, and wont know what all is fried inside until they can get power back to their house. They were staying with us until insurance finally got them a hotel for a few days, and they brought their fan over and it was fried...so I can only imagine how the appliances will be. Its a blessing in a way because they will get a new ac unit and they could use the new appliances in the kitchen, but its money to put out that most people dont have lying around and it always sucks not being able to be in your house in your space in your routine. They might be coming back to stay with us again on sunday....and thats fine. We like having them around, plus Lisa helps out with cooking and she is a great cook. I love to cook, but sometimes I would rather not!! So keep them in your prayers, also us....we are trying to get a hold of our landlords...our hot water heater is out I guess, its new just replaced, but its hard going to take showers somewhere else everyday. and our microwave is out, also possums have gotten in our attic....so hopefulyl we can get them out here soon to take care of that.
But other than that, life is good...

Whats up Heather?

WELL lets see...
1. I just wanted to say...it makes me sick when people have children and their main priority and ambition in life is to get HIGH...I have deleted these dumb people from my personal space pages and I am still working on that. Get with the program. What are you teaching your kids? I guess I dont get the hype. I have never tried any drug, besides anything legally prescribed by my dr...and I wouldnt. And my ambition in life is to be the best wife and mother, god serving woman I can be. Makes me sick.
2. I am so baby hungry right now. Hunter is getting so big, we are potty training and the other day he was sitting on his potty that sits on the big toilet and I just wanted to cry. He looked so big. And he is getting so big. I love him so much, baby please stay my baby forever. I feel like if I blink he will be 18. But we are going to feed our hunger within the next few weeks because we are going to start trying for another wee one! And I am so excited. I love kids, I always wanted a big family...and that probably wont happen since I was Delvin hungry and with his age I dont think it would be fair to have 10 kids and have him miss out on retirement that he works so hard for!!! But we will have 3-maybe 4...who knows.
3. Speaking of potty training-Hunter went poopie in the potty! He hasnt peed yet, but we are still working on it. But he did go poopie and was so excited when we did the potty dance and song...and he got a cookie. He loved it. Im trying to make it really exciting for him. We sing songs and do silly things to try and get him to be content to stay on the potty. He is SO darn cute. And just melts me with his silliness!
4. My cars transmission is bad...Yea there was a recall and I found out too late appearantly, but whatever. So instead of putting the money up which could be 3-4k for a new transmission on it we decided that we were going to go ahead and get me a big mommy vehicle that we planned on getting next year anyway since we were going to have another baby by then and we always seem to need the room with extra people and luggage for trips. So anyway we are looking for a big suv or mini van. I am really excited. It will suck having a car payment again, but it was inevitable.
5. Still looking for ahouse. and I really hope we find one by the end of this summer. I am so ready and want to be out of our house hopefully by Aug or Sept. I really am lucky to have a nice house now...but its different when its not your own...and I am not really crazy about the layout or the backyard. I love the big deck and its been great for get togethers and nice nights outside eating some bbq..BUT its not really workign with a kid. Hunter scares me to death when he gets up by the stairs to the balcony and the deck...Im afraid he iwll fall off. I just wnat a great flat backyard to put a swingset in and his other toys and let him play without worrying if he is going to fall and break something. He is quick so I cant depend on just running after him anymore.
6. Delvins mom still hasnt had surgery yet, butthat will be this week and hopefully all goes well, so keep us in your prayers.

Update on life

Well things are pretty good here. Delvin has been working pretty hard. We have had to make afew trips to witchita falls and are making another at the end of the month so he can do some work. I love going with him because I havent seen my friend Ann since the day we left the hospital with Hunter and Imiss her terribly. She just loves Hunter and I see how it feels her heart to have him tear up her stuff when we are over there! She has such a good heart.
Hunter is getting big...14.5 months and so smart and sweet. He knows which buttons to push and he loves to push them.
I am good, getting caught up on my scrapbooking stuff and enjoying my life as mommy and wife. I love my family so much, they make life just worth it. Started workign out, just trying to lose a few lbs before we get prego again. and Ill keep it up so that maybe I will have a better chance of a vbac...we are planning on trying for another baby in June most likely. maybe end of may! lol.
We are also looking for a house! Yes! We are finally buying a hosue this year. We have been married for almost 2 yrs and we have been back and forth on this...but we are ready to settle in one place. We were planning on moving to Kansas but its just not an option at this time...If it becomes an option at a later time than we will look at that possibility. But Delvin told me he is ok with settling here because this is our home...But I dont care, my home is where my husband is. So we are looking. My mother in law is having health issues right now, we are trying to talk her into moving in with us down here because we really feel it would be the best thing for all of us. And I would love for her to be here to watch Hunter grow as well as her other grandchildren. She will have such a great support system...and we are ok with moving to the country to make her feel more comfortable but close enough where delvin can easily commute. So please keep her and us in your prayers. She is stubborn and not easy to convince but we love her! lol.
We are headed to Oklahoma this weekend to see mycousin play some football. Cant wait miss them so much too.
Well I better get off here and get back to cleaning! Hope everyone is well....

twilight

I just finished the twilight saga. I am currently reading the interesting addition to the saga, midnight sun, based on edwards point of view. I am completely blown away that I have found an interest in this saga. I am not really a reader. I mean, I like to read, but I have my interest and even though I am intelligent, always was a good student, I just have my limits on what I want to spend my time reading! I am much more of a crafty hands on type of person. And YES I would rather see the movie than read the book. And I have to admit that Twilight didnt seem at all appealing to me when I saw previews so I didnt care to see it. I just thought it was some dumb teeny bopper movie and that was that. I remember going to blockbuster with Delvin and hes liek I heard it was really good, lets give it a try. A try I said...couldnt hurt...the worst that could happen is that I wont like it and I could tear away from it and work on my scrapbooks. But I liked it, I couldnt turn away. Yes the movie is about teen love. BUT...Its not just that, there is much more meaning in it for me. The measures...the love. Kind of reminds me of my life with Delvin. In a different sense of course, neither of us our vampires of course but...in real life as god fearing christians that were bound to be together. It was set in Gods plan...but it wasnt easy.
So I saw the movie, and I saw it again...and then I started the books...watching the movie on an off in between with anyone I could draw into this special life of imagination. I have lost sleep, being up until 2 30-sometimes 3 30 reading ...craving more of the story. I have never felt that way about books! (I have to stay up late because thats when Hunter is sleeping!) But its been so relaxing...like Im dreaming as Im reading, wierd huh!? So I finished it...and now Im sad. I cant wiat til the author finishes midnight sun which is a book from book 1...based from Edwards point of view. Interesting mind he has...how he loves bella. Sometimes I wish that I could get into Delvins head. See what he is thinking...how he feels...Being married I have learned to pick up on things...but I wish I knew all of it. lol. Just thinking about the series and the love they had makes me want to cry. Its so good. So if you havent seen it, you should. And the second movie, a new moon will be out in nov....11-20-09 and I cant wait. Definetely wont be able to wait for this movie to come out to video!

Feb

Well I havent written in a while, seems I have been busy I guess!

Valentines weekend we went with some friends to Red River, New Mexico and stayed in a nice cabin. It was such an awesome trip. So beautiful. The snow was so plentiful and white that it was almost blinding. We were surrounded by mountains...a view that was amazing. We had a great hill in the back yard that we spend most of our time on. We sled down it and the guys raced and tried different tricks. Even Hunter went sledding down the hill with his daddy. He didnt cry, he didnt laugh either, he kinda just had this look on his face like what the heck did you just do to me! Plus Delvin was afraid of going into the river (we still had space before that could happen, but this is when we were first out there and had only went down a few times, plus he was trying to be extra careful with Hunter...) So he put his feet down and a bunch of snow went up in their face, so I dont think Hunter liked that. But he did enjoy being out in the snow..just sitting next to me watching everyone else sled! Delvin went snowmobiling one day for a 3.5 hour tour...And he really enjoyed that. We would love to go back. We just had such a good time. But what a long drive! Totally worth it though.

Things have been pretty good otherwise. Delvin's just been busy working, and Hunter and I have been chugging along...He is so smart and amazes me each day. He is getting really good about his tantrums. He knows the word NO and he doesnt like it. But gotta teach him! He loves green veggies...yes green beans and broccoli...if he could live on those he would...

I got a call today, found out that I will get to be a cheer coach for the same team again! I am very excited to hear that, because I got really close to some of my girls....and their parents/football coaches. I was also told that I am being nominated for a cheerleading commissioner. Which basically means that I will be 1 of 3 that will be over the whole cheerleading deal. Primarily over the jr league. Its exciting for me to even be nominated for the position but the head commisioner said she thought of me immediately, I did such a good job last year, plus I know what I am doing from experience of being an actual cheerleader so she wanted to nominate me. So that made me feel really good. I am thinking about bringing in an assistant this year, especially if I get the commissioner position...just in case I have to be late to practice helping out other teams...and plus Id love to do more things with the girls this year, like sleepovers and so on.

Well its coming up on a year that memaw has been gone. Her birthday is on the 9th and she passed on the 18th...So I have been thinking about that pretty heavily. I cant believe a year has passed...and its been a hard one...I think this is going to be ahard month for everyone...so keep us in your thoughts!
Ill post pics from red river soon.

Hunters Birthday, In Laws Visit and LIFE.

I am heart broken. My baby boy is turning 1 tomorrow. And I spent the whole year freezing every moment bad or good in my head so I wouldnt forget it, and I dont know where the heck it went. The year went by SO fast. But everyday he wins my heart even more than the day before. He is so smart, funny and sweet. He LOVES to dance, talk..talks alot!..walking all over the place now...even trying to run! I keep telling him slow down...and not just with the running...He copies everything we do, repeats what we say. Loves to cuddle with me. He brings so much joy in my life. I am getting a bit of baby fever...missing being pregnant, missing holding a new born baby. Hunter is just so dang independent. I know he will always need me but sometimes he wants to do it all himself. But that baby fever will hopefully be cured when baby number 2 comes along! For now I am just enjoying the one on one time with Hunter.

Delvins parents came in on Jan 22nd. We had such a great visit with them. The day they came in, we took them to Pappadeux YUM! ...we had the best service EVER! Seriously, we have had great service but this was the best. Great waitor that we will be requesting next time. The next day we took them out to the stockyards. We just walked around, bought a few souveniors...I got my print that I wanted ...(The Cowboy 10 commandments, which is just the commandments written like a texan would say it!) Then went down to Billy bobs. They had a good time. We went before 5, so we were able to take Hunter in with us. He was really diggin all the lights, but kinda getting fussy since it was his nap time towards the end. Saturday was Hunters birthday party. We had to have the week before his actaul birthday since Delvin was on call. We had a GOOD time! It was packed from wall to wall with people and kids (25 kids) UNfortunately, the weather kept us from having it outside like we hoped (the weather was so pretty all week, of course the day of, freezing cold!) But we had fun, it worked out. Hunter got too much stuff, but thats ok. Thats the fun of being little! We had family stay late up until 2 am!!! Delvin made a brisket and YOU KNOW it was DELICIOUS! So we ate, hung out, the guy played some poker and we just sat around talking. Unfortunately, the next morning Delvins parents had to head back to Kansas, so we got up and said good bye to them. Hunter really enjoyed his grandparents being here. Grandpa Curtis just gave him all kinds of attention so of course he was eating that up! Grandpa would take him outside to play alot. Sunday we just sat around lazy and watching movie after movie.

Monday we had temps drop big time, and we had ice come in the next few days. Yuck, I hate when the weather is like that. You cant do anything. Our friends Heather, Mark and their daughter came to stay the night, we just cooked and watched a movie. Delvin and I got out to go to the store and blockbuster...and it was horrible. Very slick, and we were sliding because of people not driving right or paying attention. Very scary! So anyway, its melted but there are still spots. Our backyard is still kind of white.

Well we are looking at houses. We are going to be buying a house this year, YES finally! I think Delvin has had to search his heart on if we need to be here or if we need to be in Kansas. And here is where we need to be. We have great support here. Delvin has a great, stable job (not many can say that these days) We have made a life together here now. so we need to be here. We LOVE the area that we are in right now, we just want our own house and something that makes more sense for us to expand our family...oh and something without the stairs getting up to the house. We do love this house, but what a pain.

We have found a few houses that are really standing out to us. One is over 3k sq ft, 4 bedrooms, 3 bath 3 living rooms, a game room, big kitchen and living, 2 pantries and a laundry room, plus a workshop connected to the 2 car garage and its only 1 story!!! YEA!!! But its a lil more than we want to pay for a house! So we are hoping it will go down some more. But it would be perfect, we could have a room for each of our kids, a play room for them, delvin will have an office again and we will have a guest room, plus a room to accomodate the pool table/game room. Oh and this one has a wet bar.
Then there is another that we love, 4600 sq ft, 5 bed, 8 bathrooms (yea I am not joking, and I dont understand it either, they are all full bath too!) big kitchen and living, 2 extra rooms for office and play room laundry room and pantry, And its on an acre. That would really be perfect...have all that we would have with the other house and then some...nobody would ever have to wait for a bathroom! The downfall is that we dont really want a 2 story and this one is a 3 story. But its really neat and a DEAL for this house. So we will see. Wish us luck!

I better get back to dinner! Later!

OUR PHOTOGRAPHER ROCKS

She is so awesome! She takes amazing pics. I have written about her in many post before but this session really touched close to my heart for 2 reasons. 1...my baby is almost 1. What a year. He is so big. And 2. I collect portraits of the little kids like this you know black and white with like a red rose or whatever....or they are dressed like big people...anyway so how neat is it that I have my own collection of Hunter! Love it! And there are tons more coming, but this is a sneak peak I was given today!

I did it.

Its been a little bit since I have written, we have really been super busy! It seems like even when were just sitting around the house, we are busy...I am cleaning and were playing with Hunter, and Delvins working...and we try to kick back and watch some movies, but by the time we can its at 9 at night after I have given Hunter a bath and put him to bed. Delvin has been on a crazy on call schedule...that takes up some weekends and sometimes a week at a time! But we have made time to get in some time with friends and family. This chick I went to high school with and I kind of connected. We didnt really talk much in high school, but through myspace we have become friends now, I also went to middle school with her husband. She has a daughter, Hayden, who Hunter loves...she is just a few months older than Hunter. Anyway her and I and the kids hang out at least once a week, but we have a little mommy baby group with some other friends of ours that get together every week. We have such a good time, it rotates between my house and another girls since we have the room. But anyway we eat lunch and the babies play and they are all like within a month of each other. It really is good for Hunter and I. It gives me social time that I dont get with a job, and I think the interraction is good for Hunter so that he isnt always wantting to be up my butt, and he wont be afraid of school and sports. And he is so much like me, he will talk to anyone, go to anyone....he doesnt care! LMAO. But anyway, we really enjoy it.

Delvin and I have seen a few good movies the past few weeks. My parents have kept Hunter a few sundays to spend some time with him, so that gives us the chance to get out and do that. Which was our favorite thing to do before we had Hunter. We have seen Marley & me, and Gran Torino. Great movies. Both of them are my new favorites for sure!

I have kept one of my old cheerleaders the past 2 weekends. She is so sweet and reminds me of myself. I love her and her family. Very good people with great hearts. But anyway, her mother has fabulous hair, and mine isnt so fabulous anymore, just boring and not really doing anything for me anymore. So I got the number to her stylist. And sat on it for a few days debating what I should do. I have been having major migraines that havent gotten better and I have been slipping into a bit of a depression of my looks because I cant get my hair to do anything, my last lady messed it up bad. and I just couldnt get out of this funk...so I went in and CUT IT OFF! We cut about a foot off! Its definetely shorter. But it looks amazing. I feel so beautiful now. When I saw the finished product I almost cried because its the best stlye I have EVER had. It looks great and I feel great. And I think I lost about 10 lbs! lol.

Hunters birthday is fast approaching and his party faster. He is walking better and better. That boy has me wrapped around his finger. He now hugs me and pats my back and saw awww....lol, cause thats what I do to him! lol. His party is mickey mouse themed. I love Mickey mouse, it was my childhood fave and I thought it would be perfect. My father and mother in law are coming into town the 21st...and leaving the 26th. So we are excited. We miss them. And I dont know how to express how much it means to us that they will be coming in for his birthday. Especially since they couldnt be here for his birth. I guess it really got to me because everyone was having their babies and their familes and in laws would be there and I would watch baby story and same thing...and we didnt have anyone here from Delvins family...and I just got really emotional because we would have liked them to be.And things were such a mess at that time...it was hard. So this is going to be a celebration indeed!

Anyway, I am going to bed...goodnight!
